For over 18-years, I have focused my work on assisting UN personnel,  diplomats and staff when transitioning their lives to New York City.  Having closely worked with UN employees I became immersed with UN benefits as well as the challenges UN personnel faces when moving and renting in the NYC. 

If you are reading this right now you are likely about to move to NYC; I can help you with your relocation process. 

For example, UN expats usually do not have an American Social Security number, American credit history or most of the standard documents most apartment owners require. 

Allow me to take you by the hand and lead you through the process, even without some of the items listed above.

My name is Carol Breitman and I specialize in helping international staff, particularly UN families, relocating to our beautiful city. I will find you a great apartment and assist with many of the  relocation necessities relative to your move. 

My services are necessary as the UN does not have a system in place to help staff settle down in NYC, so without someone like me you are on your own. Discovering this motivated me to get started in 2005 as a real estate agent, in collaboration with UN staff members that educated me to better help employees. 

​I know the systems and which landlords/owners are more open to rent to UN staff and diplomats. I specialize in presenting UN staff in a way that landlords understand, and have found "homes" for MANY UN personnel.
